Licensed Veterinary Technician to Lead Tech Team, Brunswick, ME - Vet At Your Door, P.C.
We're hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician — and this isn’t your typical clinic role.
At Vet At Your Door, we believe care is better when it meets pets where they feel most comfortable: at home. We’re looking for an LVT to lead our house call Tech Team, based in Brunswick, ME (with occasional starts in Kennebunk).
This is a truly unique opportunity for an LVT who wants more autonomy, more connection, and more meaning in their day-to-day work.
In this role, you’ll start your mornings on the road with a dedicated assistant, visiting patients in their homes for technician-only appointments: vaccines, blood draws, nail trims, and wellness follow-ups. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with clients and pets — and enjoy a calm, personalized approach without the rush of a traditional clinic.
In the afternoons, you’ll oversee our in-house Mail Order system, ensuring medications reach clients accurately and thoughtfully.
Why you’ll love it:
• A high level of independence and trust — we don’t micromanage.
• A supportive, mission-driven team that truly values your expertise.
• No weekends, no nights, no surgery, no ER.
• A practice that is privately owned, thoughtfully built, and focused on doing the right thing for both patients and staff. What we offer:
$25+/hour (based on experience)
Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 3% Simple IRA match, short- and long-term disability
Company vehicle for home visits
Dedicated assistant on your team
Work-life balance you can count on
What you bring:
Maine Veterinary Technician License
2+ years of clinical experience
Confidence in the field, strong communication skills, and a calm, kind presence
Flexibility, curiosity, and a love for creating genuine connections
If you’ve been searching for a way to practice at the top of your license, build meaningful relationships, and be part of a team that values your growth and well-being — this is it.

Licensed Veterinary Technician Preferred- Urgent Care
Ready to step away from the corporate landscape? Need to take a breath and remember why we chose this profession? Interested in something different, something off the beaten path? Come join the team at Angelus Urgent Veterinary Care!
As an independently owned practice, we aim to be an extension of the family veterinarian and a link to the critical care facility. Our goal is to provide individual, quality care for our clients and patients at a time when they need assurance and comfort. It is very important that we remember why we chose this field, and working as part of this team with a varied caseload such as ours makes all the difference. We operate as an outpatient clinic, provide laboratory/imaging services through the Idexx suite and are equipped for minor procedures but are not a surgical facility. Angelus Urgent Veterinary Care is located between wonderful emergency and referral facilities to the north and south for cases that require more care than we are able to provide.
Our well experienced technical team is looking to grow and we are seeking full time experienced veterinary technicians, CVT or LVT preferred, to join our team. We are available 7 days a week from 12p-8pm daily. Previous experience should include anesthesia monitoring, as well as radiology and lab work with an Idexx suite. A minimum hourly wage of $25/hr (based on experience) and benefits such as medical, PTO and CE including licensure are offered based on full/part time status.
Questions? Interested and want to see what we are all about? Please visit our website at angelusveterinary.com or check out our online reviews. We look forward to hearing from you! Send an email to Dr. Katie Roberts at dr.roberts@angelusveterinary.com. We would love to show you how great our practice is!
