Licensed Veterinary Technician to Lead Tech Team, Brunswick, ME - Vet At Your Door, P.C.
We're hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician — and this isn’t your typical clinic role.
At Vet At Your Door, we believe care is better when it meets pets where they feel most comfortable: at home. We’re looking for an LVT to lead our house call Tech Team, based in Brunswick, ME (with occasional starts in Kennebunk).
This is a truly unique opportunity for an LVT who wants more autonomy, more connection, and more meaning in their day-to-day work.
In this role, you’ll start your mornings on the road with a dedicated assistant, visiting patients in their homes for technician-only appointments: vaccines, blood draws, nail trims, and wellness follow-ups. You’ll build strong, lasting relationships with clients and pets — and enjoy a calm, personalized approach without the rush of a traditional clinic.
In the afternoons, you’ll oversee our in-house Mail Order system, ensuring medications reach clients accurately and thoughtfully.
Why you’ll love it:
• A high level of independence and trust — we don’t micromanage.
• A supportive, mission-driven team that truly values your expertise.
• No weekends, no nights, no surgery, no ER.
• A practice that is privately owned, thoughtfully built, and focused on doing the right thing for both patients and staff. What we offer:
$25+/hour (based on experience)
Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 3% Simple IRA match, short- and long-term disability
Company vehicle for home visits
Dedicated assistant on your team
Work-life balance you can count on
What you bring:
Maine Veterinary Technician License
2+ years of clinical experience
Confidence in the field, strong communication skills, and a calm, kind presence
Flexibility, curiosity, and a love for creating genuine connections
If you’ve been searching for a way to practice at the top of your license, build meaningful relationships, and be part of a team that values your growth and well-being — this is it.
